Company Description Vardhman Polytex Limited (VPL) is a leading textile company with a strong legacy in spinning and yarn manufacturing. Originally promoted by the Mohta Group and PSIDC, the company’s management was taken over by Mahavir Spinning Mills Limited in 1987 and later came under the newly formed Oswal Group in 2003. VPL has a substantial production capacity with a spindlage of 195,168 spindles, supporting large-scale operations. The company operates modern manufacturing plants in Bathinda, Ludhiana, and Nalagarh, offering opportunities to work close to core production and supply chain activities.
Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bathinda, responsible for managing customer accounts and supporting key business relationships. The role includes overseeing order processing, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and ensuring timely delivery and billing accuracy. The Account Manager will monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and address client queries or concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction. Daily tasks also include collaborating with internal stakeholders on pricing, contracts, and credit terms, as well as identifying opportunities for account growth. The role requires maintaining updated records, following internal controls, and contributing to continuous improvement in account management processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong account management and client relationship skills, including experience handling multiple accounts and resolving customer issues.
Candidates should possess commercial and financial acumen, such as understanding of billing, pricing, credit control, and basic financial reporting.
Candidates should possess coordination and organizational skills, including the ability to manage deadlines, track orders, and maintain accurate documentation.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills for working with sales, production, logistics, and finance teams.
Candidates should possess proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.
Relevant experience in manufacturing, textiles, or a related industrial sector is beneficial, along with knowledge of supply chain or order fulfillment processes.
A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, accounting, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Bathinda on a full-time basis.
