MEP Manager

Role Description This part-time remote MEP Manager role at Farma Latini focuses on overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across projects. The MEP Manager will coordinate design reviews, ensure alignment between architectural and MEP drawings, and support the integration of MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing MEP coordination meetings, reviewing technical documentation, advising on system selections, and collaborating with project teams and external partners to resolve design and installation issues. The role also involves assisting with procurement decisions for MEP materials and equipment, monitoring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and providing clear documentation and reports on MEP progress and risks.
Qualifications
Ability to lead and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities, including MEP Coordination and MEP Design.
Practical knowledge of Plumbing systems, including design review, installation considerations, and compliance with applicable codes.
Experience with procurement processes related to MEP materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition.
Background in building services engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong skills in technical documentation, drawing review, and report preparation.
Proficiency in collaborating remotely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Understanding of relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices for MEP systems.
Prior experience in MEP project management or coordination in industrial or commercial environments is beneficial.
