About Utsav Camp Sariska
Utsav Camp Sariska is a boutique experiential jungle lodge located in the beautiful Tehla valley, on the southern side of Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan. Committed to responsible tourism, conservation, and immersive wilderness experiences, we offer guests a meaningful connection with nature through curated wildlife experiences, nature walks, birding, starlit dinners, and explorations of the Aravalli landscape.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, guest-oriented individual who is passionate about hospitality, nature, and the outdoors to join our team as a Guest Experience Executive.
Role Overview
The Guest Experience Executive will be responsible for creating memorable, seamless, and personalised guest experiences from arrival to departure. The role involves working closely with guests, understanding their interests, planning bespoke experiences, and coordinating with the naturalist, front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other operations teams to ensure flawless execution.
This is a hands-on, on-site role suited to someone who enjoys interacting with people, exploring the wilderness, and working in an offbeat destination rather than a conventional hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Engagement & Hospitality
Welcome guests and establish a warm, personalised connection throughout their stay.
Understand guest preferences, interests, special occasions, and expectations.
Proactively communicate with guests and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain high standards of personalised service and hospitality.
2. Planning & Execution of Guest Experiences
Plan and curate personalised experiences based on guest interests, weather, seasonality, and available activities.
Coordinate experiences such as guided nature walks, birdwatching, wilderness explorations, starlit dinners, sundowner experiences, and other approved activities.
Work closely with the naturalist team and Utsav Rangers to ensure experiences are engaging, safe, and informative.
Ensure all arrangements, including timings, transportation, refreshments, dining setups, and guest preferences, are communicated and executed smoothly.
Pay attention to details that transform an ordinary stay into a memorable experience.
3. Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Naturalists, Kitchen, and other operational teams.
Conduct regular briefings regarding guest arrivals, departures, special requests, and planned experiences.
Follow up on all arrangements to ensure timely execution and consistent service standards.
Ensure that all departments are aligned with the daily guest experience plan.
4. Nature, Wildlife & Conservation
Develop a strong understanding of the local landscape, biodiversity, birdlife, wildlife, and cultural heritage of the Tehla–Sariska region.
Assist in developing nature-based and responsible tourism experiences.
Encourage guests to appreciate the region's natural and cultural heritage.
Ensure that all activities comply with applicable forest regulations, wildlife guidelines, safety protocols, and the property's responsible tourism practices.
5. Operational Excellence
Maintain daily guest experience plans, activity schedules, and coordination records.
Ensure that equipment, vehicles, refreshments, and experience setups are ready on time.
Collect guest feedback and share actionable insights with the Camp Manager.
Support the team in maintaining service quality, operational discipline, and attention to detail.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
An excellent communicator in English, comfortable interacting with domestic and international guests.
Passionate about hospitality, nature, wildlife, and outdoor experiences.
A confident driver with a valid driving licence and the ability to drive in local conditions.
Organised, proactive, observant, and capable of managing multiple activities simultaneously.
A team player who can coordinate effectively across departments.
Comfortable living and working in a remote, offbeat jungle destination.
Flexible to work hospitality shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings as required.
Willing to learn, take ownership, and go beyond routine responsibilities to create exceptional guest experiences.
Educational Qualification & Experience
A degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Travel Management, or a related field is desirable.
Candidates with a background in Botany, Zoology, Wildlife Biology, Environmental Science, or Natural Sciences will be preferred.
Prior experience in boutique hotels, resorts, eco-lodges, wildlife lodges, or experiential hospitality will be an advantage.
Freshers with excellent communication skills, a genuine interest in nature, and a strong service orientation may also apply.
What We Offer
The opportunity to work in a unique boutique jungle lodge in the Aravalli landscape.
Hands-on exposure to experiential hospitality, wildlife tourism, and responsible travel.
An opportunity to learn from hospitality professionals and naturalists.
A dynamic working environment where initiative, creativity, and personal contribution are valued.
The opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering meaningful guest experiences and promoting conservation-led tourism.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a nature enthusiast with a hospitality mindset. Someone who enjoys meeting people, is curious about the natural world, can confidently drive, and takes pride in planning and delivering experiences that guests remember long after they leave Sariska.
