Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities related to the platform’s non-governmental sector initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting and onboarding volunteers, scheduling and coordinating their assignments, and maintaining clear communication to ensure a positive volunteer experience. The role involves designing and delivering basic volunteer training, providing guidance and feedback, and helping volunteers understand organizational goals and expectations. The coordinator will also support community outreach efforts, such as online engagement campaigns, virtual events, and collaborations with NGOs, to strengthen the volunteer network and expand the platform’s reach.
Qualifications
Ability to manage volunteer programs, including Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training.
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills for engaging with diverse volunteers and partners.
Experience with Community Outreach or public engagement in nonprofit or similar settings.
Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple volunteer activities remotely.
Comfort with digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, social media) for remote coordination.
Prior experience in the non-governmental or nonprofit sector is an advantage.
Commitment to inclusivity, ethical conduct, and supporting a diverse volunteer community.
Relevant education or training in fields such as social sciences, communications, nonprofit management, or a related area is beneficial.
