Package Design Engineer - NX

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Package Design Engineer – NX role based in Pune City. The role focuses on designing and developing packaging solutions for electrical and mechanical components using Siemens NX and other Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed 3D models and drawings, performing design reviews, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and project teams, and optimizing designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost. The engineer will analyze technical requirements, Create design options, maintain design documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex packaging challenges.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, preferably Siemens NX, for 3D modeling, detailed drafting, and design optimization.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and customer requirements, and translate them into robust design solutions.
Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary global teams.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple design tasks in a dynamic project environment.
Experience in the energy sector, turbine or power equipment design, or related heavy engineering domains is an advantage.
