Estimation Manager

Role Description The Estimation Manager at Farmacia Iconika is a part-time remote role focused on developing, reviewing, and refining cost and resource estimates for pharmacy-related projects and operations. This role involves analyzing data from suppliers, internal teams, and market trends to prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, and proposals. The Estimation Manager will collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to validate assumptions, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure estimates align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining estimation templates and tools, documenting methodologies, monitoring variances between actual and estimated costs, and improving estimation processes over time. The role may also support reporting to leadership, contribute to planning cycles, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience in cost estimation, budgeting, or financial forecasting for projects or operations.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and estimation tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or dedicated estimating software), including the ability to work with formulas and data sets.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple part-time projects remotely and meet deadlines consistently.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining assumptions, preparing summaries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, exercise sound judgment, and maintain high attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated environments is beneficial, including basic understanding of compliance and cost drivers in the sector.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in estimation or project costing.
Experience with data analysis, reporting dashboards, or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
