About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Forequence is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial technical leader to join as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. This is a founder partnership with meaningful ownership, not a conventional salaried executive role or outsourced development position.
The Opportunity
Unlike many early-stage opportunities, you will not be starting with only an idea. Forequence already has:
A clearly defined enterprise problem
A developed product vision
Proprietary indices, scoring methodologies, and assessment logic
A growing body of original global research
An early MVP
Ongoing enterprise pilot conversations
Leading research, strategy, positioning, commercial development, and go-to-market
The foundation for a differentiated and defensible category in organizational intelligence
About Forequence
Forequence is an enterprise intelligence platform that helps organizations detect human strain before it becomes burnout, attrition, disengagement, or execution failure. Organizations have become highly sophisticated at measuring productivity, performance, revenue, and output. They remain far less capable of understanding the human capacity sustaining those outcomes. Most workforce platforms tell companies what has already happened. Forequence is being built to help organizations see what is developing beneath the surface, understand where human capacity is under pressure, identify the conditions driving that pressure, and intervene before it becomes an expensive organizational failure. Through proprietary organizational indices, behavioral signals, AI-supported analysis, and enterprise intelligence, Forequence helps leaders make better decisions about people, performance, capacity, and risk.
Meaningful Founder Ownership
You will join as a genuine co-founder with meaningful equity and long-term participation in the value you help create. This is not an advisory title, symbolic ownership, or an employee role disguised as a founder opportunity. The right person will help shape the company's technology, product, strategy, team, fundraising, and future. Equity, vesting, responsibilities, decision rights, intellectual property, and founder expectations will be discussed transparently and formalized properly.
Build From a Stronger Starting Point
You will not be responsible for inventing the problem, researching the market from scratch, creating the brand, defining the initial methodology, and building the technology alone. Forequence already has a substantial body of developed intellectual property, research, scoring logic, product thinking, market positioning, and commercial direction. You will bring the technical depth required to transform those assets into a scalable enterprise platform.
Significant Product Influence
The platform is early enough for you to make foundational decisions. You will have meaningful authority over:
Product architecture
Technical strategy
AI and data infrastructure
Enterprise security and privacy
Engineering standards
Product development priorities
Technical hiring
Platform integrations
Scalability and defensibility
The long-term technology roadmap
A Timely Market Opportunity
Artificial intelligence is accelerating the speed, complexity, and intensity of work. As organizations invest more heavily in automation, productivity, and performance technologies, they will also need better intelligence about the people operating alongside those systems. The central question is no longer only whether companies can increase output. It is whether they can understand the human capacity required to sustain that output. Forequence is positioned at the intersection of enterprise AI, workforce intelligence, organizational performance, people analytics, and human sustainability.
Build the Team and Culture From the Beginning
You will have the opportunity to recruit the early engineering and data team, establish the technical culture, and define how the company builds. You will not inherit a dysfunctional engineering organization, outdated infrastructure, or a deeply embedded development process. The early technical standards will be yours to help create.
The Partnership
As Co-Founder And CTO, You Will Work Directly With The Founder To Build Forequence Into a Scalable Enterprise Company. The Partnership Will Include
Meaningful co-founder equity
Shared responsibility for company direction
Direct influence over major product and business decisions
A clear division of ownership based on complementary strengths
Transparent founder agreements and vesting
Participation in fundraising and investor conversations
The opportunity to build and lead the technical organization
Long-term involvement in the commercial value created by the platform
