Senior Logistics Specialist

Role Description The Senior Logistics Specialist role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations and ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of goods. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating shipments, monitoring inventory levels, and managing relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. The specialist will handle export documentation, compliance checks, and alignment with international trade regulations, while optimizing supply chain workflows and resolving delivery issues. This role also involves analyzing logistics performance data, preparing reports, and recommending process improvements to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, track KPIs, and identify areas for operational improvement.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Supply Chain Management to manage procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Export processes, including documentation, customs requirements, and international trade regulations.
Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in a senior or specialist role.
Proficiency with logistics and ERP software, spreadsheets, and data reporting tools.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
