Role Description The Architectural Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications provided by architects and project leads. Day-to-day tasks include developing floor plans, elevations, sections, and details; updating drawings as designs evolve; and ensuring that documentation aligns with applicable standards and project requirements. The role involves coordinating with design and project teams to clarify requirements, maintaining organized drawing sets, and supporting planning activities with accurate technical documentation. This is a contract role and is fully remote, requiring reliable digital collaboration and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning principles to interpret design intent accurately.
Candidates should possess solid Drawing skills, including the ability to translate conceptual sketches into precise technical documentation.
Proficiency in CAD or BIM software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and experience with digital file management.
Attention to detail, ability to follow standards and guidelines, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective remote communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Relevant diploma or degree in architecture, architectural technology, or a related field; prior drafting experience is an advantage.
