Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior OpenShift Engineer/Architect to support a complex enterprise project. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, platform architecture, and production troubleshooting. The candidate must be capable of independently handling complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, configure, and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to cluster operations, networking, storage, security, and application deployments.
Manage OpenShift cluster upgrades, scaling, high availability, and performance optimization.
Implement security best practices, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Security Context Constraints (SCCs), monitoring, and automation.
Collaborate with customer stakeholders and distributed teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Take end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables, ensuring reliability, stability, and performance of the platform.
Support production environments, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
Support CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, monitoring, and platform operations.
Mandatory Technical Skills
Red Hat OpenShift 4.x
Kubernetes – Cluster administration and orchestration
OpenShift cluster architecture, configuration, upgrades, and scaling
Cluster networking, storage, security, and high availability
Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration
Scripting and automation using Ansible, Bash, or Python
CI/CD pipelines and GitOps
Monitoring, logging, and production incident management
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis in enterprise production environments
Required Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and customer stakeholders
Strong ownership and accountability for technical deliverables
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Candidate Profile
A technically strong, self-driven Senior OpenShift Engineer/Architect with 10+ years of experience, proven enterprise production expertise, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to independently manage complex OpenShift environments.
