Role Description The Aws Proserve Cloud Infrastructure Architect is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Architect will design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available environments that align with client requirements and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating business and technical needs into solution architectures, building and configuring infrastructure components, and overseeing system administration tasks across cloud and hybrid environments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and client stakeholders, to support migrations, performance tuning, cost optimization, and ongoing maintenance. The Architect will also document architectures, establish standards, contribute to automation initiatives, and provide guidance on cloud governance, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure skills, including cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and lifecycle management.
Candidates should possess Solution Architecture and Architecture skills for designing end-to-end AWS solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Candidates should possess Networking skills, such as VPC design, routing, load balancing, connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect), and network security in cloud and hybrid setups.
Candidates should possess System Administration skills, including Linux/Windows server management, monitoring, patching, automation, and troubleshooting in AWS environments.
Practical experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform, Lambda) and familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Proficiency in scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in hybrid and remote settings.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps) are highly beneficial.
