About The Role
We are seeking an experienced AI Security Engineer to secure AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions across enterprise environments. The role will focus on embedding security controls throughout the AI lifecycle and strengthening safeguards for large language models (LLMs), foundation models, AI models, data pipelines, and AI-enabled applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI security, ensuring that cutting-edge AI technologies are implemented responsibly and securely within complex organizational ecosystems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity and AI security engineering. They should possess a strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle security risks, with hands-on experience in securing LLMs, foundation models, and Generative AI applications. A proven track record in AI red teaming, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security testing is essential. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in securing AI model development, training, evaluation, and deployment, along with experience in DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipelines. Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are desirable, along with cloud security certifications from providers like Microsoft, AWS, or Google Cloud. Strong scripting, automation skills, and excellent communication abilities are also required to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive security assessments and threat modeling for AI, ML, Generative AI, and LLM-based solutions to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
Design and implement robust AI security controls, guardrails, and monitoring capabilities to safeguard AI assets and data.
Conduct AI red-team exercises, including testing for prompt injection, jailbreaks, model manipulation, data leakage, and adversarial attacks to evaluate system resilience.
Secure the entire AI lifecycle, including model development, training, evaluation, deployment, and operational environments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
Embed security controls within AI CI/CD pipelines and configuration management processes to facilitate secure development and deployment practices.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, AI engineers, architects, governance, and risk teams to align security strategies with organizational goals.
Define and establish AI security standards, patterns, and control requirements that adhere to enterprise governance policies.
Analyze emerging AI threats continuously and enhance defensive controls and testing methodologies to stay ahead of potential adversaries.
Support the responsible and secure adoption of AI technologies across enterprise environments, promoting best practices and compliance.
