Senior Accountant

Company Description French Bakery with Premium Hotels and Events Venue at Chattarpur Main Road,New Delhi.
Role Description Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead or execute closing procedures, prepare journal entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, P&L reports, and cash flow analyses.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure alignment with accounting standards (such as US GAAP or local equivalents), coordinate external/internal audits, and resolve discrepancies.
Team Guidance: Supervise, review work for, or mentor staff accountants, accounts payable/receivable clerks, and bookkeepers.
Taxation-Monthly Compliance and tax returns filing and reporting.
Process Improvements: Evaluate current workflows, recommend internal controls, and help implement accounting software or automation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree: A B.Com, BBA, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field serves as the standard baseline.
Advanced Degree (Optional/Preferred): A CMA,CA,CPA or Master’s degree such as an M.Com or MBA in Finance can strengthen a candidate’s profile for leadership or complex corporate roles.
Experience
Work Experience: Typically requires 5 to 8 years of hands-on accounting experience in corporate and independently handled the team and control on overall finance and accounts.
