Salt is a performance and creative growth agency in Australia. We run paid search, paid social, SEO, websites, content and video for medium to large businesses, with a strong focus on industrial, trade and B2B brands. We’re young, we’re growing fast, and we’ve never lost a client. That last one is a standard we intend to keep, and the person in this seat will play a big part in maintaining it.
What you’ll do
You’ll be joining our SEO & Performance team - with a senior SEO strategist, strong systems and automations - from technical audits and site architecture through to content strategy, entity building and AI visibility. You’ll work across WordPress, Shopify and custom-coded sites, which means you’re comfortable getting into templates, schema and site speed yourself or briefing our web team with precision. You’ll read our AI visibility data, turn it into a plan, and work with the team to execute.
You’ll also help shape how we deliver SEO overall. We’re building standardised processes and AI-assisted workflows across every service line, and we want your expertise baked into how the whole team works.
What you bring
4+ years of hands-on SEO with ranking results you can show us
A genuine working understanding of GEO and how LLMs choose which brands to cite
Strong technical SEO across WordPress, Shopify and custom builds
Confidence with GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Screaming Frog
The habit of testing new approaches as the AI search landscape shifts week to week
