Interested in the art world, gallery practices, and exhibition management? This is an opportunity to work closely with artist Ajay Chakradhar and gain practical experience in the professional art sector.
With an upcoming exhibition at the Bihar Museum, Patna, opening in November, we’re looking for an enthusiastic college student to assist with the artist’s social media, gallery correspondence, research, and exhibition-related coordination.
Responsibilities include:
Managing Instagram content and exhibition communications.
Drafting emails to galleries and following up on correspondence.
Researching galleries, art spaces, and potential opportunities.
Assisting with exhibition planning, coordination, and administrative tasks.
Details:
Location: Churchgate Road, Mumbai
Work mode: Hybrid
Working hours: 4–5 hours per day
Duration: 1 month, with the possibility of extension.
Stipend: ₹5000-₹6,000/month
Ideal for a student interested in contemporary art, gallery practices, and the professional management of an artist’s practice. Strong writing, organisational skills, and initiative are important. Familiarity with Instagram and Canva is a plus; prior experience is not essential.
