Database Administrator (DBA)

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) who has strong database fundamentals, a problem-solving mindset, and a genuine curiosity about how databases work.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day database operations, health, performance, security, and availability.
Identify and optimize slow queries, indexes, database schemas, and execution plans.
Handle database backups, recovery, monitoring, upgrades, and production issues.
Investigate database bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
Work closely with development and DevOps teams to improve application and database performance.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of SQL, database concepts, indexing, joins, transactions, locking, and query optimization.
Hands-on knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Understanding of database performance, security, backup, and recovery.
