Senior Logistics Specialist

Role Description The Senior Logistics Specialist will manage day-to-day logistics operations, focusing on the movement, storage, and coordination of solar inverters and related materials. This part-time remote role includes planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining documentation for domestic and export logistics, and coordinating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries. The role involves optimizing supply chain processes, tracking inventory, resolving delivery issues, and maintaining compliance with relevant trade and transportation regulations. The Senior Logistics Specialist will also support continuous improvement initiatives, provide clear communication to stakeholders, and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, optimize routes, and improve supply chain performance.
Candidates should possess experience in Supply Chain Management, including inventory control, transportation planning, and vendor coordination.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Export processes, documentation, and compliance requirements for international shipments.
Relevant experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain roles within manufacturing or renewable energy is beneficial.
Familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and basic MS Office tools is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field is advantageous.
