Role Description This remote internship role for a Software Engineer involves designing, implementing, and testing features for AI-driven products, including voice agents, support bots, and automation tools. The intern will collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to write clean, maintainable code, integrate APIs, and contribute to scalable system architectures. Daily tasks may include debugging issues, improving performance, documenting technical solutions, and participating in code reviews and stand-up meetings. The role also involves researching emerging AI and automation technologies, experimenting with prototypes, and supporting deployments to production environments.
Qualifications
Foundational software development skills, such as proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java) and familiarity with version control (Git).
Basic understanding of web technologies and backend development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
Interest in AI, machine learning, and automation, with exposure to concepts like NLP, conversational agents, or integration with AI platforms considered a plus.
Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities, with attention to code quality, testing practices, and performance optimization.
Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and contribute to a distributed team.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines is beneficial but not required.
