Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior/Junior Design Engineer role is based in Coimbatore North. The role involves designing and developing mechanical and electrical components and systems, translating requirements into detailed engineering drawings and specifications. The engineer will use CAD tools to model products, prepare documentation, and support prototype development and testing. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing designs for manufacturability and safety, and assisting in resolving technical issues during production and installation. The role also involves updating designs based on feedback, adhering to industry standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with a focus on Product Design.
Candidates should possess core Mechanical Engineering knowledge relevant to industrial equipment and components.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling.
Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering skills for control systems and related products.
Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience in industrial controls, manufacturing, or equipment design is an added advantage.
