Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role located in Bengaluru. The Carpenter will perform day-to-day tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials for structures, fixtures, and fittings. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, installing frameworks, doors, windows, and cabinetry, and performing finish carpentry to achieve precise, high-quality results. The role involves safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools, routine inspection and maintenance of equipment, and collaboration with other team members to complete projects on schedule. The Carpenter will also ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
Strong Carpentry skills with experience in structural and detailed woodwork.
Proficiency with Hand Tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices.
Ability to safely operate Power Tools including drills, sanders, and cutting equipment.
Experience in Framing for walls, roofs, and other structural components.
Skill in Finish Carpentry for doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other fine details.
Knowledge of basic construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.
Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various site conditions.
Previous experience as a Carpenter or relevant vocational training is preferred.
Reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to work collaboratively on-site in Bengaluru.
