Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Football Agent at Winning Edge Group. The Football Agent will manage and represent football players, overseeing contract negotiations with clubs and sponsors while protecting clients’ best interests. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing opportunities with teams and commercial partners, maintaining regular communication with clients to support their career goals, and coordinating with legal and financial professionals as needed. The role involves building and managing a strong network within the football industry, monitoring market trends and player performance, and preparing professional presentations, proposals, and reports. The Football Agent will also handle inquiries from clubs and sponsors, provide high-quality client service, and collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure consistent, ethical representation.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Football and the professional football ecosystem, including leagues, clubs, and player development pathways.
Skills in Sports Management and sports business operations, such as contract structures, regulatory frameworks, and compliance with relevant governing bodies.
Sales capabilities, including negotiation, relationship building, and closing commercial and sporting opportunities on behalf of clients.
Customer Service skills to provide responsive, reliable support and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with athletes and partners.
Team Leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with internal staff, external advisors, and stakeholders while coordinating client-related initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and advocate confidently in high-stakes situations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple clients and projects in a remote environment.
Experience in sports agency, player representation, or related sports business roles is highly beneficial; licensing or certification as a football agent, where required by local regulations, is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Law, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Please note this is not a paid role and it is a commission based role. When deals are done then money is split.
