Molecular Biologist

Designation- Executive/ Sr. Executive (Molecular Analysis)
Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in the Biotechnology / Biologics industry will be preferred.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, GxP, and EHS requirements while strictly following established quality and safety practices in the molecular biology laboratory.
2. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all laboratory activities in compliance with GDP and data integrity principles (ALCOA+).
3. To perform and monitor the routine testing related to molecular biology as per approved STP, SOPs, protocol and raw-data sheet.
4. Ensure proper system suitability testing, calibration, qualification, and performance verification of Molecular biology related and other associated analytical instruments.
5. Perform advanced troubleshooting of molecular biologics analysis related systems, chromatographic anomalies, and method-related issues to ensure data reliability and uninterrupted laboratory operations.
6. Equipment/ Instruments troubleshooting of molecular biology instruments like UV-Cross Linker,Micro plate Spectrophotometer spectra maxiD3, UV-Spectrophotometer Slot blot manifold, and hybridization oven/Shekar etc. and basic data interpretation.
7. Ensure and maintain proper documentation practices, including electronic data review, audit trail verification, logbook checks, and controlled data management as per GD
8. Train junior personnel on molecular techniques, instrument operations, and safety workflows , regulatory audit compliance including newly adapted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety logs, and deviation reports.
9. To ensure Analyze data assay controls meet acceptance criteria before final review.
10. Participate in investigations of OOS, OOT, deviations, and instrument/system failures; perform root cause analysis, document findings, and support CAPA implementation and effectiveness checks.
11. Collaborate with QA, QC, and cross-functional teams for investigations, audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Manage lab inventory by tracking specialized reagents and control materials.
13. To perform and monitor analytical method validation / Analytical method verification and analytical method transfers for new molecular targets, assays, and other related required tests.
14. Manage vendor relationships related to molecular biology laboratories for specialized scientific instrumentation service contracts, calibrations, and technical-support escalations.
15. To ensure all the analysis is performed as per approved STP and documented properly.
