Role Description The Store Manager role at Dhiya Couture is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. This role is responsible for leading and coaching the store team, ensuring high levels of customer service, and resolving customer inquiries and concerns. The Store Manager monitors sales performance, manages inventory, and implements promotional activities to achieve revenue and profit targets. The role also involves maintaining store cleanliness and safety, handling cash management, and collaborating with leadership on process improvements and local marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience in retail store management, including overseeing daily operations, team supervision, and customer service.
Strong skills in sales planning, stock control, and basic reporting to support revenue growth and efficient inventory management.
Ability to maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure appealing product displays, and uphold brand presentation guidelines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead, train, and motivate store staff in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic computer tools, and standard retail procedures such as cash handling and reconciliation.
Proven ability to solve problems, handle escalations, and make sound decisions in day-to-day store situations.
Prior experience in fashion or apparel retail is highly beneficial; local market knowledge of Jaipur is an advantage.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
