Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Application Developer, based in Sholinghur with flexibility for some work-from-home. The Application Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implementing secure and efficient code, integrating applications with databases and external systems, and ensuring compatibility with front-end technologies such as CSS. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, documenting technical specifications, and participating in code reviews to uphold development standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, including experience with one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases, including design, queries, and performance optimization using SQL or NoSQL systems.
Candidates should possess skills in front-end technologies such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to support UI implementation and application styling.
Candidates should possess skills in Integration, including connecting applications with APIs, third-party services, and internal systems.
Relevant additional qualifications include understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), version control tools (e.g., Git), and basic knowledge of secure coding practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
