Role Description The Maintenance Technician internship role at Haldiram Foods International Ltd is an on-site position based in Mumbai. Interns will assist in routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and repair activities to support continuous production operations in a food manufacturing environment. Day-to-day tasks include helping with troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues, supporting preventive maintenance schedules, and documenting maintenance activities under supervision. Interns will work closely with senior technicians and production staff to learn safe operating practices, understand machinery performance, and contribute to minimizing downtime. This role offers hands-on learning in industrial maintenance and exposure to standardized processes in a leading FMCG manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for production machinery and support systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance to identify and resolve basic mechanical and electrical issues.
Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to assist in scheduled inspections, servicing, and documentation.
Diploma or ongoing studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering/technical field preferred.
Basic understanding of safety standards in manufacturing, with the ability to follow SOPs and use tools safely.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Availability for on-site work in Mumbai and flexibility for shift-based schedules as per operational requirements.
