Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and production-ready enterprise applications.
The role involves working on backend APIs, complex business workflows, database systems, external integrations, document processing, application architecture, and deployment.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably within the broking or financial services industry.
Commitment: Looking for candidates dedicated to a minimum 2-year tenure.
Location: Candidates based in Mumbai are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain REST APIs following clean MVC and layered architecture.
• Develop complex busines logic, validations, exception handling, authentication, and transaction management.
• Design and optimize relational databases using SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Manage database versioning and schema changes using Flyway.
• Integrate applications with external systems, third-party APIs, and enterprise services.
• Work with secure data handling, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Handle document generation, processing, file management, and object storage.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and support different deployment environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, integration, and deployment layers.
• Analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and develop scalable solutions.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Take ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production support.
