Role Description The Cabinet Vision role at HOUSPACE is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves creating detailed cabinet and modular furniture drawings using Cabinet Vision, preparing cut lists, material reports, and production-ready files. The team member collaborates with designers, project managers, and factory staff to ensure designs are accurate, practical, and aligned with client requirements and site conditions. Daily work includes updating and maintaining design libraries, checking measurements, resolving technical issues, and optimizing layouts for efficient manufacturing. The role also requires timely documentation, version control of drawings, and adherence to company standards and safety practices.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Cabinet Vision or similar cabinet design/CAD software, with the ability to create detailed shop drawings and production files.
Strong understanding of modular furniture or cabinetry construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, take accurate site measurements, and translate them into practical designs.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, project managers, and factory teams.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Relevant experience in interior design, woodworking, or modular furniture manufacturing; experience in a similar role is preferred.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
Comfort with basic computer tools (email, spreadsheets, documentation) and willingness to learn new systems and workflows.
