About PaedsCare
PaedsCare is a doctor-led parenting platform creating clear, trusted educational videos for parents. Our 3–4-minute videos combine doctor footage, AI-generated family scenes, B-roll, explanatory graphics and animation.
About the role
We are looking for a creative, hands-on senior editor who can personally produce complete videos and leadone to two editors. You will own daily production, creative direction, quality checks and timely delivery, with minimal day-to-day supervision from the founder.
Key responsibilities
* Personally edit and finish videos from approved scripts and supplied doctor footage.
* Create simple storyboards and choose visuals that make the teaching point easy to understand.
* Guide the team in AI image and video generation, motion graphics, animation and editing.
* Assign work, resolve production problems and manage weekly deadlines.
* Review AI visuals for realism, consistent characters, unwanted artefacts and alignment with the approved script.
* Check captions, pacing, colour, music, sound and brand consistency before submitting drafts.
* Manage revisions and maintain organised project files and reusable assets.
* Work towards an initial team target of approximately 20 completed videos monthly, subject to complexity and timely availability of inputs.
Required skills
* Strong hands-on editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
* Practical proficiency in After Effects, motion graphics and explanatory animation.
* Demonstrated experience generating and refining AI images and videos.
* Understanding of prompting, reference images, character consistency and image-to-video workflows.
* Experience with tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika or comparable platforms.
* Strong creative judgement and visual storytelling.
* Ability to brief, guide and assess other editors’ work.
* Ability to work with English and Hindi narration and captions.
You should understand AI and animation well enough to execute key work yourself, give clear instructions and judge the team’s output.
What success looks like
You contribute completed videos personally, the team delivers on schedule, and drafts reach the founder after thorough internal quality checks. Medical scripts and final clinical approval remain with PaedsCare.
