Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering
What does a successful Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering at Fiserv do:
As Specialist, Quality Engineering and AI Automation, you will lead quality strategy, automation architecture, and AI-enabled testing across enterprise solutions. You will establish engineering standards, mentor teams, manage quality risks, and partner with stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery.
What you will do:
Define the quality engineering strategy, automation architecture, standards, and reusable frameworks across applications and teams.
Design and implement automated functional, regression, integration, API, end-to-end, and performance testing.
Lead and mentor quality engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, code reviews, and issue resolution.
Build and govern GitHub Copilot custom agents, reusable skills, prompts, tools, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Develop AI agents using GitHub Copilot SDK, Claude Agents SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen, or a similar framework.
Establish AI-agent evaluation, safety, observability, and automated quality gates.
Integrate automated tests and AI solutions into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and AWS environments.
Partner with stakeholders to communicate quality metrics, release readiness, risks, and remediation plans.
What you will need to have:
7+ years in enterprise quality engineering and test automation, including 2+ years in technical leadership.
5+ years building scalable automation frameworks using Python, Java, or a similar language.
3+ years with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JMeter.
3+ years testing REST APIs, JSON web services, and TCP/HTTP applications.
5+ years integrating automated quality gates into GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
Experience leading quality engineering in Agile delivery, including planning, risk management, release readiness, and continuous improvement.
Hands-on experience with generative AI, AI-assisted engineering, and GitHub Copilot custom agents or equivalent agentic solutions.
Experience developing AI agents with GitHub Copilot SDK, Claude Agents SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen, or a similar framework.
Experience evaluating AI agents for response quality, grounding, tool accuracy, regression, safety, and release readiness.
Hands-on experience with GitLab repositories, merge requests, pipelines, artifacts, and cloud integration.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
What would be great to have:
Experience in merchant or financial-institution payment processing.
Experience with performance, load, resiliency, and security testing.
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging, metrics, or tracing.
Hands-on experience with AWS application or AI services, including security, observability, scalability, and reliability.
