About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer I to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design strategy across a specific business or product line, shaping user experiences that are not only intuitive and engaging but also aligned with customer needs and business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and researchers, to craft solutions that deliver meaningful value. Your expertise will guide the development of user-centered designs, utilizing research insights, analytics, and testing results to inform decisions. Additionally, this position offers an excellent opportunity to mentor junior designers, influence product innovation, and contribute to creating seamless, impactful customer-facing applications.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess mastery of user-centered design processes and interaction design skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Human Factors Engineering and established methodologies for user-centered design are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to analyze and synthesize data from various sources, including analytics and customer insights, to inform design strategies. Experience in setting and tracking metrics to guide design decisions is highly valued. Expertise in design software such as Axure, Sketch, and InVision is required, along with the ability to produce designs across multiple platforms. Strong problem-solving capabilities, innovative thinking, collaborative mindset, and mentoring skills are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Lead the overall design strategy for a specific business or product line, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer use cases and advocate for user needs within agile teams to influence product development.
Create and implement processes that effectively identify customer needs and uncover design opportunities to enhance user experience.
Partner with UX Research teams to gather insights and proactively incorporate findings into design solutions.
Manage and deliver user-centered design assets, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
Utilize analytics, customer feedback, and testing outcomes to refine designs and inform future strategic directions.
Conduct user testing sessions, iteratively improve designs based on feedback, and collaborate with research teams to validate solutions.
Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Build strong relationships with technical and product teams to facilitate seamless integration of design solutions into development workflows.
