Procurement Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring: Procurement Engineer | Calicut, Kerala
Gravity Business Process Private Limited is expanding its team at our Calicut office and looking for a sharp, detail-driven Procurement Engineer.
You’ll work on procurement, sourcing and proposal support for our GCC-region enterprise clients in Oil & Gas, Industrial Safety and Industrial Equipment. That means real projects, international exposure, and the chance to grow with a fast-moving, technology-driven team.
🔧 What you’ll do
Review and analyze RFQs, enquiries, tenders, datasheets, drawings and BOQ/BOM
Identify suitable products, equipment and technical solutions for client requirements
Source from and coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and vendors for pricing, lead times and compliance documents
Run technical and commercial comparisons of supplier quotations
Prepare and verify costing, pricing, margins and commercial terms
Prepare compliance statements, technical submittals, deviations and clarifications
Evaluate lead times, delivery schedules, warranty and payment terms
Identify alternative or equivalent products where needed
Support negotiations and prepare revised quotations
Maintain proper records and keep the proposal funnel up to date in CRM
✅ What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Procurement or a related technical field
2–3 years of experience in procurement, estimation, technical proposals or sales engineering
Strong skills in costing, BOQ/BOM analysis and vendor coordination
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; Zoho CRM is a plus
Clear written and verbal English for communicating with GCC clients and international suppliers

Experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial Safety, Fire & Gas, Instrumentation or Industrial Equipment
AutoCAD experience or MEP courses
