Role Description The Academic Advisor will provide personalized academic guidance to students, helping them understand program requirements, plan course selections, and stay on track toward graduation. This full-time, on-site role in Kosamba Surat involves conducting student counseling sessions, supporting career exploration, and referring learners to appropriate Courses when needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate advising records, organizing information sessions, and contributing to initiatives that enhance student success and retention.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Online academic Advising and online education-related skills to guide students effectively through their programs.
Candidates should possess Student Counseling skills to support learners’ academic needs.
Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Communication skills to help students explore pathways and articulate goals.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Ability to build trust with diverse student populations, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with comfort using student information systems and basic office software.
Prior experience in academic advising, student services, or counseling in a higher education setting is preferred.
Gujrati language will be an added advantage
