About the Role
The Senior Process Engineer is a hands-on technical role that spans design, product development, customer engagement and project ownership for bioprocess equipments.
Responsibilities
A. Documentation, Data & Reporting
Preparation and review of PE documents
Preparation and Review of DD documents
Prepare and review protocols, and reports for various studies.
Data Recording and analysis.
B. Design & Engineering
Review drawings using CAD, Solid works.
Work on design and perform 3D layouts of complex scopes and equipment.
C. New Product Development & Prototyping
Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function.
Involvement in New Product Development; executions, testing, evaluation.
D. Manufacturing, Vendor Coordination & Equipment Testing
Coordination with vendors during product manufacturing, advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required.
Coordination with the manufacturing team for new product development and testing.
Execution of pre-FAT, FAT and SAT as and when required.
E. Customer Engagement & Project Ownership
Participate in and review of Market Complaints, investigation and RCA and engagement with customers
Sales support in the scope of preorder for consumables and hardware.
Analyse customer processes and user requirements for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as fermentation, direct flow filtration, tangential flow filtration etc.) commonly used in the upstream process, also considering requirements of the subsequent downstream process.
Take ownership and take the technical lead and responsibility from the initial enquiry phase to process order.
Qualifications
Master's in Biotech or any science field
Experience Required
10+ years of relevant experience
