Java & Microservices Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java & Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.
Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and data validation.
Work with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Integrate microservices with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Support application deployment, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and application security.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with cloud-native application development.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
