Role Description The Laboratory Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Patna Area. The role involves preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and performing routine and specialized tests according to standard operating procedures. The technician will record and analyze data, ensure proper labeling and storage of specimens, and follow established protocols for quality control and safety. Daily responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and collaborating with other laboratory staff to support timely, accurate diagnostic services. The technician will also assist in documentation, reporting test results, and supporting continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and experience working as Laboratory Technicians in clinical or research settings.
Candidates should possess the ability to handle and maintain Laboratory Equipment, including calibration, basic troubleshooting, and adherence to safety standards.
Candidates should possess solid Quality Control knowledge to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting test results, validating data, and identifying potential discrepancies.
Relevant diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, infection control, and proper handling of biological samples.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage workload efficiently, and adapt to evolving laboratory procedures and technologies.
