Role Description The Field Application Biomedical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves supporting customers in the biomedical and electronics domains by providing technical guidance on product selection, system integration, and application optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, addressing technical inquiries, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with internal design and sales teams to propose suitable solutions. The person in this role will visit customer sites, gather technical requirements, translate those requirements into system configurations, and assist in pre- and post-sales technical activities. The Field Application Biomedical Engineer will also prepare documentation, contribute to training sessions for customers and colleagues, and provide feedback to product and R&D teams based on field experience.
Qualifications
Field Applications and Technical Support skills for customer-facing engineering, solution deployment, and troubleshooting.
Sales and customer relationship skills to support pre-sales discussions, product presentations, and technical proposal development.
Analog and Electronics domain knowledge to interpret circuit designs, understand biomedical instrumentation, and advise on component selection.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in biomedical devices, medical instrumentation, or electronic system integration is an advantage.
