Executive Vice President o f Strategy

Role Description The Executive Vice President of Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for driving long-term business direction, growth initiatives, and organizational alignment. This role oversees the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategies, including market positioning, digital transformation, and financial performance optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading strategic planning cycles, conducting market and competitive analyses, and translating insights into actionable plans in partnership with senior leadership. The Executive Vice President of Strategy collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business opportunities, refine the operating model, and ensure effective implementation and performance tracking of strategic initiatives. This role also mentors strategy and consulting teams, manages key stakeholder relationships, and regularly presents strategic recommendations and progress updates to the executive team and board.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Expertise in strategic planning and consulting, with a track record of leading enterprise-level initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Solid finance acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and assessing business cases.
Proficiency in digital strategy, including experience with digital transformation, technology-enabled business models, and customer-centric innovation.
Extensive executive-level leadership experience, with the ability to influence, build consensus, and drive change across diverse teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, prioritize multiple initiatives, and deliver results in fast-paced settings.
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in senior strategy roles considered.
Experience in corporate, consulting, or high-growth environments, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and sustainable growth.
