.NET Engineer (AI-Focused)

Maplora Technology is looking for an experienced .NET Engineer with a strong AI focus to join an exciting outsourcing opportunity with one of our international clients in the hospitality technology industry.
You'll lead practical AI initiatives while remaining hands-on with C#, .NET, APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations. You'll also help modernize existing applications and use AI-assisted development tools to build and deliver software more efficiently.
What we're looking for:
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a .NET Engineer with a strong AI-Focused
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with ASP .NET Core, REST APIs, web services, and backend development
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or similar
• Experience integrating LLMs / AI services such as Azure OpenAI or OpenAI
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills
• Experience with third-party API integrations and troubleshooting XML/JSON
• Understanding of authentication, webhooks, API security, and networking
• Experience supporting business-critical production applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required, as you'll be working directly with an international team
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
AI experience with:
• Prompt design and structured AI outputs
RAG, embeddings, and vector search
• AI agents and workflow automation
• AI evaluation, security, and data privacy
Hospitality technology experience is a strong plus, particularly PMS, Trust Accounting, channel managers, reservations, revenue management, or OTA integrations.
