Executive Vice President of Finance

Role Description The Executive Vice President of Finance at Inpulse.pt is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy. This role leads financial planning and budgeting processes, ensures accurate preparation of financial statements, and supervises financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The Executive Vice President of Finance collaborates with senior leadership to drive long-term financial strategy, monitor performance against targets, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Daily activities include reviewing financial data, managing risk, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, optimizing cash flow, and guiding finance team members. This role also contributes to strategic decision-making by providing clear financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Finance, including comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial management and strategy.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with experience developing and managing long-term financial forecasts.
Solid understanding of Financial Statements and accounting principles, with the ability to oversee accurate preparation and analysis.
Experience in Financial Reporting, including regulatory, statutory, and management reporting for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, assess financial risk, and provide actionable insights.
Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and collaborating with cross-functional executives.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience in remote work environments, with strong organizational skills and self-management capabilities.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) is preferred.
