Role Description The Director role at VMentor.ai is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Director will oversee client engagements end-to-end, including scoping transformation initiatives, designing functional and leadership development programs, and ensuring effective implementation and measurable impact. This role involves collaborating closely with CXO-level stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams of subject matter experts, and managing program delivery timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Director will contribute to strategy development, build long-term client relationships, and support the creation of new offerings and best practices across capability building, leadership journeys, and strategy deployment. Regular responsibilities include reviewing program outcomes, presenting insights and recommendations, and mentoring internal team members to support organizational growth.
Qualifications
Strong experience in organizational transformation, strategy planning, and strategy deployment, ideally working with large enterprises or high-growth startups.
Proven track record in designing and leading capability-building initiatives across functions such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, or Operational Excellence.
Demonstrated expertise in leadership development, including working with mid to senior-level leaders on topics such as stakeholder management, negotiation, analytics, and executive coaching.
Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs, including OKR or balanced scorecard implementation, innovation and design thinking initiatives, and performance improvement projects.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage CXO-level leaders and diverse participant groups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience using data and storytelling to influence decisions and demonstrate impact.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, mentoring professionals, and managing large-scale projects or portfolios.
Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent) or commensurate experience in management, consulting, or a related
