Role Description The Restaurant Captain at Nyaaro is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This position oversees the smooth operation of the dining area, ensuring guests receive attentive and efficient service. Responsibilities include supervising service staff, coordinating table assignments, monitoring food and beverage service, and resolving guest concerns promptly. The Restaurant Captain supports training, guides team members on service standards, and collaborates with the kitchen and management to maintain quality and consistency. The role requires leading by example on the floor, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and helping achieve customer satisfaction and revenue goals.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills with experience leading and guiding front-of-house teams.
Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
Knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards, menu understanding, and basic order handling.
Previous experience in a captain, head waiter, or similar role is preferred.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills.
Basic computer or POS system knowledge and familiarity with billing processes is an advantage.
Formal hospitality training or a relevant certification/diploma is beneficial.
