We are seeking a CTO to lead this next chapter—scaling our product portfolio, including Flo, Loop, Spend Intelligence, and Finance Close, and strengthening our engineering organization.

The Role
Reporting to the Founder & CEO, you will be our trusted technical counterpart, owning technology strategy, product engineering, architecture, security, and delivery.
You will translate business priorities into scalable products, make technical decisions independently, and communicate trade-offs clearly to nontechnical founders—enabling them to focus on customers, partnerships, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap: Prioritize development across our products, balancing customer value, reusable capabilities, and engineering capacity.
Lead engineering: Develop and grow our Sri Lanka engineering team, establish strong standards, and ensure predictable delivery.
Scale securely: Build reliable infrastructure, protect customer data, and demonstrate security and operational readiness to enterprise customers.
Manage AI quality and costs: Ensure AI workflows perform reliably, with visibility into quality, cloud spending, and operating costs by product and customer.
Own ongoing improvement: Establish dependable support, maintenance, and enhancement practices that demonstrate measurable value to customers.
Lead technical customer discussions: Represent Celestial on architecture, integrations, security reviews, and technical due diligence.
What You Bring
At least 15 years of experience in software engineering and technology, including substantial leadership responsibility.
A proven track record of scaling enterprise software products and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Strong technical judgment across architecture, cloud infrastructure, integrations, security, and production operations.
Practical experience delivering AI-powered products, including quality evaluation and operating-cost management.
Product and commercial judgment, with the ability to turn customer requirements into repeatable capabilities.
Clear communication, independent decision-making, and accountability for results.
Experience in healthcare, field services, or finance automation is valuable.

A focused product roadmap, predictable engineering delivery, secure and scalable products, transparent operating costs, and customer confidence in Celestial’s ongoing support and enhancements.
Location
This role can be based in the USA, Dubai, Sri Lanka, or India. Close collaboration with our Sri Lanka engineering team, regular overlap with US leadership and customers, and periodic travel will be required.
