About the Role
RSI Global Logistics LLP is seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Initiatives to lead financial planning projects, strategic investments, and business growth initiatives.
Working closely with executive leadership, this role will focus on improving financial performance, evaluating new investment opportunities, and executing strategic projects that support long-term profitability.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, and business strategy, with the ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic financial initiatives aligned with company growth objectives.
Evaluate investment opportunities, business expansion plans, and potential partnerships.
Develop financial models, investment proposals, and business cases.
Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
Analyze cash flow, operating margins, profitability, and financial risks.
Support corporate development activities, including acquisitions and joint ventures.
Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and business performance.
Oversee strategic projects involving financial planning and process improvements.
Establish financial KPIs and track project performance against business objectives.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and executive leadership on major business decisions.
Prepare financial reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and financial performance expectations.
Qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, financial planning, investment analysis, or related functions.
6+ years of leadership experience managing strategic financial projects or corporate development initiatives.
Among the candidate's two most recent positions, at least one must demonstrate 6+ years of continuous tenure with the same organization.
Proven experience leading complex financial and strategic business initiatives.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and business valuation.
Solid understanding of FP&A, capital allocation, cash flow, and P&L management.
Experience evaluating strategic investments, acquisitions, or business expansion opportunities.
Strong analytical judgment, financial risk assessment, and executive communication skills.
Experience in financial services, trade finance, or investment-driven businesses preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Proposed U.S. Base Salary: $185,000–$245,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, long-term incentives, and company benefits, subject to the approved compensation package.
