Role Description The Vice President of Product Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing product operations across the company’s life insurance and health-related offerings. This role manages and optimizes end-to-end product lifecycle processes, including product launch readiness, operational workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives. The individual will collaborate closely with product management, project management, and cross-functional teams to align operations with strategic goals, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and enhance customer and stakeholder experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting operational standards, monitoring performance metrics, identifying process gaps, and driving data-informed decisions that support scalability and efficiency. The Vice President will also mentor and develop team members, manage complex programs, and partner with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and deliver on organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Strong Product Operations experience, including designing, implementing, and refining operational frameworks that support product strategy and delivery.
Proficiency in Product Management, with the ability to translate market needs and business goals into operational requirements and scalable processes.
Proven Program Management skills, including managing cross-functional initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and tracking progress against strategic milestones.
Robust Project Management capabilities to lead complex projects, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure consistent execution across teams.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including data-driven decision-making, performance analysis, and reporting to guide operational improvements and strategic planning.
Demonstrated leadership experience at senior level, with the ability to coach teams, drive accountability, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for influencing stakeholders, presenting to executive leadership, and working effectively in a remote environment.
Experience in insurance, health care, or financial services operations is highly beneficial, with familiarity in regulatory and compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
