Assistant Research Scientist

Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Research Scientist to support scientific research, experimental studies, and data analysis across ongoing research projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, scientific curiosity, and a systematic approach to investigating research questions. This role involves conducting experiments, collecting and interpreting data, reviewing scientific literature, and collaborating with research teams to support the development of new knowledge, technologies, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, designing, and conducting scientific experiments, investigations, and research activities.
Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate scientific methods and tools.
Conduct literature reviews to identify relevant studies, research trends, and potential areas for further investigation.
Prepare research reports, technical documentation, presentations, and summaries of findings.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, research databases, and experimental documentation.
Operate and maintain research equipment while following established laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Collaborate with scientists, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project objectives.
Identify experimental challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to improving research methods.
Assist in preparing research proposals, publications, and presentations for academic or professional audiences.
Ensure research activities follow ethical guidelines, data integrity standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of scientific principles, research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant scientific software, statistical tools, or laboratory instruments.
Ability to conduct literature searches, evaluate scientific information, and interpret research findings critically.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting research results.
