About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Medical Sales Representative to expand our presence in Ludhiana by building strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare referral partners.
Responsibilities
Medical Sales & Business Development
Generate new business opportunities for Curagers Home Healthcare through regular field visits and direct outreach.
Visit doctors, hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, pharmacies, and other potential referral partners to promote our home healthcare services.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources.
Identify prospective customers and referral partners to increase patient acquisition and service utilization.
Achieve assigned business development and lead generation targets.
Daily Field Visits & Lead Generation
Plan and execute a structured schedule of daily market visits focused on business generation.
Conduct regular meetings with doctors, healthcare professionals, and prospective referral partners.
Identify local market opportunities and recommend strategies to improve business penetration.
Maintain records of daily visits, leads generated, meetings conducted, follow-ups, and conversions.
Ensure timely follow-ups with prospective clients and referral partners to convert leads into business.
Relationship & Referral Network Management
Build and strengthen referral networks with hospitals, clinics, individual practitioners, senior care facilities, and community healthcare organizations.
Educate referral partners about Curagers' home healthcare services and service capabilities.
Maintain regular communication with existing referral partners to encourage continued engagement and referrals.
Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth handover of leads and appropriate follow-up on service inquiries.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
Conduct on-ground market research to identify potential customers, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
Analyze local demand for home healthcare services and provide actionable market insights.
Gather feedback from healthcare professionals and prospective customers to improve outreach strategies.
Recommend suitable promotional activities and local business development initiatives.
Reporting & Performance Management
Submit daily reports covering field visits, meetings, leads, follow-ups, and business generated.
Maintain an updated database of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and other referral partners.
Participate in weekly performance reviews and business planning meetings at the Mohali Head Office.
Work toward achieving monthly sales and business development targets.
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in business, marketing, life sciences, or a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Prior experience in medical sales, healthcare sales, or field-based business development is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with doctor engagement, healthcare referral networks, and local market development will be an advantage.
Required Skills
Prior experience in the healthcare industry is mandatory, preferably in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, hospital marketing, healthcare business development, or home healthcare services.
Must be based in Ludhiana, Punjab.
Must own a personal two-wheeler or four-wheeler for daily field visits, business development activities, and market analysis.
Must be comfortable conducting daily field visits to generate business and develop referral networks.
Must report to the Curagers Head Office in Mohali every Friday without fail for weekly reporting, performance reviews, and planning.
Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a field schedule, and achieve business development targets.
Willingness to travel regularly within Ludhiana and nearby markets as required.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in medical sales, healthcare sales, or field-based business development is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with doctor engagement, healthcare referral networks, and local market development will be an advantage.
