Frontend Engineering Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineering Intern to join our team and help build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications.
In this role, you will work closely with engineers and product team members to turn ideas and designs into functional user experiences. You will contribute to real product features, improve existing interfaces, and gain hands-on experience with modern frontend development practices.
Responsibilities
Build and improve frontend features for web applications
Develop responsive and reusable UI components
Translate product requirements and designs into functional interfaces
Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services
Debug and resolve UI, browser compatibility, and performance issues
Improve application usability, responsiveness, and accessibility
Collaborate with engineering and product teams on feature development
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Maintain clean, organized, and scalable frontend code
Research and experiment with new frontend technologies when needed
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience with React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frontend frameworks
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
Basic understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture
Familiarity with Git and version control
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React and Next.js
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other modern styling frameworks
Experience working with REST APIs or GraphQL
Understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility
Familiarity with frontend performance optimization
Experience with personal projects, GitHub contributions, hackathons, or previous internships is a plus
