Role Description The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a full-time remote role responsible for defining, communicating, and executing the company’s long-term strategic vision. This role oversees strategic planning processes, aligns corporate objectives with market opportunities, and collaborates closely with executive leadership to drive growth initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes, evaluating new business opportunities, and guiding investment strategies in partnership with finance and portfolio teams. The CSO will lead cross-functional projects, develop strategic roadmaps, and ensure that key performance indicators are tracked and reported to the executive team and stakeholders. This role also involves mentoring leaders, facilitating strategic workshops, and maintaining a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong strategic planning and business planning skills, with experience developing and executing long-term corporate strategies.
Advanced analytical skills and financial acumen, including experience with financial modeling, investment analysis, and performance measurement.
Proven executive management experience, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
Relevant experience in investment management, financial services, or a related industry is highly beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and make timely, informed decisions.
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
