About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our dynamic team at Tier4 Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining enterprise applications, ensuring their quality and reliability. Your primary responsibilities will include performing comprehensive testing activities, supporting production environments, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manual testing, SQL, defect management tools such as Jira/Xray, and accessibility testing standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to process improvements, and ensure that our applications deliver exceptional user experiences for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Qualifications
Demonstrated hands-on experience in manual QA testing, including creating test scripts, test cases, and test plans.
Proficiency in functional, regression, and integration testing of enterprise applications.
Experience with defect management tools, particularly Jira and Jira Xray, for tracking and resolving issues.
Strong SQL querying skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including developing use cases and facilitating workflows.
Familiarity with accessibility testing and compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.
Exposure to automated testing tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive quality assurance services across multiple application initiatives to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Perform various testing types including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate application functionality.
Create and maintain complex test data sets to support testing activities effectively.
Collaborate closely with application development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle to ensure clarity and alignment.
Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and application quality.
Ensure all applications meet quality standards prior to deployment by conducting thorough testing and validation.
Log, track, validate, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution through effective communication with technical teams.
Support production environments by troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues promptly.
Communicate testing results, risks, and defect statuses clearly to stakeholders and project teams.
Manage and triage support tickets submitted by business users, providing timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
Work directly with business partners to understand requirements, develop testing scenarios, and facilitate UAT sessions.
Create detailed use cases and test scenarios for UAT, demonstrating application workflows to end-users.
Partner with UAT participants, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the testing process to ensure successful adoption.
