Role Description The Etsy Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s Etsy storefronts. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating product listings, writing compelling titles and descriptions, selecting appropriate tags, and managing product images. The role also involves monitoring shop performance, analyzing sales and traffic data, adjusting pricing and promotions, and ensuring accurate inventory and order details. The Etsy Specialist will respond to customer inquiries, support resolution of order issues, and maintain strong shop ratings and reviews. This position collaborates with internal teams to plan campaigns, implement branding guidelines, and support the overall growth strategy on Etsy.
Qualifications
Experience managing Etsy or similar marketplace stores, including listing creation, shop setup, and basic platform troubleshooting.
Strong e-commerce and digital marketing skills, such as understanding SEO for product listings, keyword optimization, and promotional campaign support.
Proficient written communication skills for clear product descriptions, customer messaging, and brand-consistent content.
Comfort with data and analytics tools to track performance, interpret metrics, and make informed adjustments to listings and pricing.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple listings, orders, and customer interactions in a remote setting.
Attention to detail in product information, inventory accuracy, and order processing to reduce errors and improve customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently, collaborate virtually with a team, and adapt to changing priorities and marketplace trends.
Previous experience in online retail, marketplace operations, or merchandising is preferred; familiarity with basic graphic editing tools is a plus.
